Paulette Frank info@pearlandfit.comRunning has definitely improved my overall fitness and lifestyle. It is now a part of my weekly routine. I have been running for nine years and have completed five full and two half marathons. This is my eighth year with Pearland Fit. I coached the Red Group for four years and this is my 4th year as Organizer for Pearland Fit. The most rewarding experience as a Coach is to see people set and meet their individual goal(s). After running my first marathon, I knew that I was a lifetime runner. I have a very supportive husband, Miguel and four beautiful children: Alex, Kennie, Aaron and Kristian. They are my biggest motivation for staying physically and mentally fit. Remember, life is filled with challenges and road bumps. Overcoming these challenges make winning even more enjoyable. | Kristie Wagoner kylekrisrylee@sbcglobal.netTraining with Pearland Fit has allowed me to reach goals that were honestly just thoughts or dreams! Before beginning the marathon training, I had always enjoyed running 2-3 miles, 3-4 times a week. When I first signed up for the program (6 years ago), I had never run more than 4 miles. I didn't really think I was going to be able to really run 26.2 miles, but agreed to give it a try. I surprised myself each week and took each week as a huge triumph! I have now completed 4 marathons, and multiple half and had two kids in the mean time and have one on the way. I have a wonderful and supportive husband, Kyle, and 2 of my most #1 fans, Rylee 5 years and Reese 3 years. We are expecting baby #3 in August. Running has become such a huge part of my life and I have met wonderful friends along the way. I would have never thought I would be a repeat marathoner, but once you experience the feeling, it's difficult to let go. I am excited to help you reach your goal and fulfill your dreams. I want to help give you the feeling of crossing that finish line! There's truly not a better feeling than that! I am looking forward to meeting and running with you! | ||

Richard Carroll rcarroll@houstonisd.org Head Coach This will be my 5th year with USA Fit Pearland and 3rd as head coach of the Green Group. It has been a very enjoyable experience. For two years, I trained on my own and completed four marathons. With Pearland Fit, my love for running has increased. I have run 14 marathons during the four years with the group and plan on running my next 14 marathon in the coming two years. What USA Fit Pearland does is to take people at any level of walkers and runners and place them in the program that will best train them to be successful. What I like best is our Saturday morning training runs. You have hours to talk to your fellow runners/walkers and it makes the time more enjoyable. Then, we have a short meeting with guest to talk about other aspects of running and tips to make your overall health better. Come by and see what we are all about. You will love what you will become. | |

Sheri Roberts-Updike sheri.updike@gmail.com Head Coach I started running in 1996 with Houston Fit and completed my first marathon that year as part of the yellow group. Since then, I have completed 3 Houston marathons and many more half marathons all over the world. This is my 5th year as part of Pearland Fit and my 3rd year as an assistant coach for the red group. I run for fitness and fun and enjoy meeting new members eager to cross the finish line for the first time. | |

When I finished I had the most satisfying feeling of accomplishment when I cross the finish line. I was a Marathoner and you could say I was hooked and have been running ever since. People say they could never run a marathon. My answer is if you train physically and mentally for it you can. I know that USA fit program can help you accomplish your goals. So don’t let anything stop you. Come out and run with us, believe it or not you will have a good time with the other runners. | ||

I said "sure", never thinking in a million years that I would do it. The rest is history. I have certainly enjoyed my association with PF and feel I have made wonderful friends, as well as, committing to a healthy life style that I never intend to give up. Running has helped me survive through life's ups and downs. Although I have slowed down I know I can be an encourager and a mentor. Pearland Fit is a great program regardless of fitness level. Again, The old cliche; "If I can do it anyone can do it!" | |
